Free Consultations:

The Handy Team recognizes the uncertainty people face when trying to obtain an estimate for all
types of home repairs and projects.  Therefore, we offer free, in home consultations and
estimates. 
We will meet you at your home to review your project and provide you a proposal within
three business days. 
All of our proposals are valid for 30 days so you have time to make the best
decision possible.

Fair Pricing:

We want to make sure that our Customers and potential Customers understand our pricing so they
can make the best possible decision.  Therefore, our concierge will assist you to ensure that:

  • You will completely understand in advance the charges for all of our services/proposals.
  • We accept credit cards or checks and payment is due upon completion of the job. For large
    jobs, a deposit may be required.
  • You have the option to purchase the necessary material yourself or we can do it on your
    behalf.
  • We bill in half hour increments and do require a one hour minimum.

Workmanship Guarantee:

We recognize how important it is to have your work done right.  Therefore, we guarantee our labor for
180 days after we have completed your job.  If we install any items that “we purchase for you”, we will
also help you complete the manufacturer’s warranty.

Safety is Essential:

The safety of our Customer’s home and property are essential.  Therefore, all of our tradesmen go
through a rigorous hiring and training program.  First, we perform comprehensive background checks
that include screening for any criminal activity and their driving record.  Then our tradesmen are
certified in safety and awareness procedures.  All of this is done in an effort to insure your safety. We
are also licensed, fully insured and all of our people are bonded for your added protection. Additionally,
we pre-screen most jobs and will not perform them if we deem that it would place our tradesman at
risk.

Courtesy/Cleanliness:

In the highly competitive field of home repair and improvement, we pride ourselves on the quality of
our workmanship.  We have gone to great lengths to find the right tradesmen that you would feel comfortable working on your home.  All of our tradesman have experience in multiple trades; many
have been self employed in the past and understand the importance of developing and fostering an on
going relationship with our Customers.  In fact, much of our business comes from word of mouth
referrals and repeat business.  As part of our tradesman certification, every member of our team is
educated to ensure the following:

  • At the completion of all jobs, the area where the work was performed will be cleaned and look
    like it did before we started.
  • When working inside your home, we will either remove our shoes or wear work booties.
  • We will put down the proper covering and protect your walls, furniture, floors and/or
    carpeting for certain jobs.
